Wednesday 2-25-09: Guest Lecturer

On Wednesday morning I was a guest lecturer at the Military Hospital and the PT students at the Universidad Católica were also invited to attend. The therapist that I´ve been working with was very interested in the way that I´ve been treatíng one of their patients (post-breast cancer lymphedema). Because this is something that I´ve had a lot of training in, she asked if I´d give a lecture and lab demonstration. Of course I said yes, this was a really awesome opportunity for me. I lectured some in Spanish and some in English with a translator for more detailed info, and did Q&A in Spanish.

Everyone was really interested and had a lot of questions. Britton came along and took these pictures for me, what a great husband. This had to be my favorite part of our trip!
