This morning, Nathan looked at his toy cellphone, pressed a button, then another, but nothing happened.
"It doesn't work," he said with eyebrows raised in concern.
Suspecting that the little blue switch was in the "off" position, I said, "even if you use the switch on the side?"
He paused, furrowing his brow while considering it for a moment. Then he held the phone by his side and swung his arm back and forth saying, "swish, swish, swish!"
He looked at the blank screen, pressed a button again unsuccessfully and shook his head "it doesn't work!"
He had no idea why I was laughing so hard while I turned the phone on for him properly. My adorable little boy!
