This week I'm 37 weeks pregnant (considered "full term") and am patiently, anxiously, excitedly waiting on the newest man in my life to arrive. Britton is working a 24 hr shift so it's just me tonight. Nathan is upstairs sleeping peacefully and I'm having the regular but non progressive Braxton Hicks contractions that I've been experiencing every evening for hours for the past couple of weeks. It's such a tease!
I'm sitting here typing this blog entry, drinking hot chocolate, listening to Brad Paisley's "Waiting on a Woman" on YouTube and playing a pictionary game on my iPhone with my mom and Julieann (thanks for the distraction, ladies!).
As Mr. Paisley says: honey, take your time, cuz I don't mind, waiting on a... little man!

Mother's Day
Last weekend Britton took Nathan and I out for waffles on Mothers Day. Waffles are the one craving that I have during this pregnancy and First Watch did not let us down with their light and crisp breakfast treats!
Kate Jackson Park
My mom came a couple of weeks ago and we took Nathan to his favorite parks and the mall play area. In these final stages of pregnancy, taking care of and entertaining a toddler is a little bit harder and a lot more uncomfortable. Luckily, grandma is a steady source of entertainment!

Paper submitted, visit to Orlando.
A LOT has happened since my last post. My mom came one weekend and babysat ALL DAY Saturday and Sunday so that Britton could work and I could finally knock out my case report. About a week later, after 2 colleague reviews, I finally submitted it to the APTA and now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed until I get my results in the next 8-12 weeks. At this point, I will likely get distracted by other life events anyway...!
A couple of weeks later, we visited Ann, Julieann, Caleb and Elijah at their resort in Orlando to relax and play in the water park.
