Saturday 2-14-09 PM: After lunch, Britton and I took a bumpy taxi ride up to Las Lagunas de Mojanda, two lakes that were formed when the top of a volcano collapsed and created craters at the top.
From there we hiked about a mile higher and then hiked the whole 11 miles down the volcano and back into town. As we were hiking we kept seeing beautiful farms on the mountain sides and views of the city which seemed so far we thought we might never get there.
Finally, we showered and had our Valentine´s day dinner at a restaurant right next to our hotel (new earings and shawl). :-)
