Saturday Night in Baños

When we returned to Baños, we took an evening stroll around the market and through the cathedral with its beautiful paintings. Baños is known for its little tiendas that make taffy by pulling it over a wooden stick in front of their store. They actually let me do it myself which seems totally unsanitary but I think we left ¨sanitary¨a long time ago.

We passed a vender making an Ecuadorean favorite: roasted guinea pig. Did we try it? Uh...no gracias. We went to a restaurant and had fresh trout from the local river.
