While in Ecuador, a few major changes took place in our life and the lives of our friends and family:- Britton's childhood cat, Kitty, who was currently living with his mom finally died at 22+ years old. She was a sweet kitty and will be missed.
- My mom's faithful and kind dog, Lily, died and will be dearly missed.
- Britton's younger sister, Julieann, had a healthy baby boy: Elijah William Murphy.
- My friend and maid of honor, Sarah, had a very premature little girl: Marion Isabella Sumner. Marion came into this world early to point out a few complications (Langerhans cell histiocytosis) to Mom and Dad and is a very sweet little fighter.
- The physical therapist that I am replacing during her maternity leave was supposed to start the women's health program at Lexington and then leave it in my hands when I got back. However, she developed preeclampsia and gestational hypertension and was put on part-time desk duty only. Which means that she and I are getting the paperwork together this week and I should be able to start the program myself next week.
