Great friends, Devastating news.

This weekend, Britton and I went to Atlanta to see the International Car Show and, more importantly, to visit my Atlanta friends. At Audrey and Joe's house we made pizza on Friday night. Saturday night we hung out with Audrey, Joe, Shelley and Andy; and Sunday we visited Janna and her son, Oliver, for breakfast.

Saturday afternoon I got the most heartbreaking news of my life: my dear friends, Sarah and Jeff, lost their little baby girl. Born on 2/16/09 at 33 weeks, she passed away after over a month of intensive medical treatments and even more intensive love from two of the kindest people to walk the earth and from their extended family. Marion Isabella Sumner is dearly missed by all those that knew her and by so many others that never got a chance to meet her. They are in our thoughts and prayers every day.

Some of my friends and family know Sarah and Jeff or met them at the wedding. (Who could forget the Princess Bride matron of honor speech?) If anyone would like to send them a card, I'll post their address here:
