Honeymoon - Monday 6/23/08

In the morning we went on a two hour hike from the Arenal Observatory Lodge at 8:30 am. We saw howler monkeys and many species of birds, flowers and insects. At the end of a fun little climb, there was a small waterfall. Flower: Reina de la noche

We drove to the Sky Tram/Sky Trek Canopy Tour, had a light lunch and then assembled our gear for zip lining through the open jungle canopy. The longest zip line was a 1/2 mile long and the views were spectacular!

Later that afternoon, we went hiking on a really strenuous trail to get down to a river. We looked at the river for a minute and then turned around to climb out of there before the sun set! In the evening, we had dinner at the Tabacon Hot Springs surrounded by lush exotic gardens.
